Food~

Last nite Leo,Dawn and I damn semangat went for another round of Jalan-jalan Cari Makan in Newton’s Old Food Court.

This is what we ate:

The three of us had Wanton Mee. I wouldnt say it is nice, it’s just so-so. Anyhow, it still can beat the one I had in Bukit Cina. The meat is juicy and more tender unlike the one i had last nite, it was half-cooked i think. You can even tell it by the look of its color.On the scale of 10, i give 5 la…..

I drank Lime Juice. Tasted blek. Too sourish that each time i take a sip , i squint my eyes like this . I dunno why is the Lime Juice in this color. Prollie coz of the coloring. The one i had in Lot85 is the best Lime Juice i’ve ever tasted. And the color is colorless, not this. On the scale of 10, erm 5 also la. hahaha.

As for dessert:

We had this Octopus Ballz. Saw the thing look-like-skin? Its moving, and it looks creepy! haha. I dunno what it’s called. Dawn said it’s fish’s skin. And damn right it tasted good! It blends well with the mayonaisse but barbecue sauce kinda spoil the flavor abit. I had this in JB before, i thnk JB’s is better, coz the ballz are much bigger and meatier. But this i had was good none the less. I gv 6 for this
So, the question is, do we have the official certified signature from Dawn?

Em, i’ll take it as a no .

After dinner, we headed to MP to collect the Shrek ticket. We were the first to collect the ticket and we had the best seat everrrr. haha. It’s the at the back and in the middle yo! I rarely get to sit in a good view in cinema. Either that,or it’s almost full house and u get those seats like the screen is at the tip of ur nose and u gotta tilt ur head alittle thru out the entire movie . Hehe.

We window shopped for abit, still searching for the perfect shoes for the wedding. Emm, pretty difficult to find a pair of shoes that has the ‘wow’ factor. All the shoes i’ve seen are just plain ordinary or either way worst still ! it doesnt have my size! Omg la. Shoot me.

After jalan already, we went for another round of cari makan again. And guess where we went? This time around, we went to this back alley.

It only open business at nite. This is the place where u can find absolutely- juicy-fresh and bloody ’sea-hum’ . The secret to the recipe is the “dying-to-eat sauce”. It’s tasted heavenly! I think it has a little bit of honey,freshly squeezed lime,sambal alittle, black soya sauce and god knows what else they put! hahaha…

If u come to Melaka, this is a must to try . The only thing to bare is to sit on a short stools near the drain. Yes,tepi longkang, that’s where u get the “xtra” flavor from. hehe. Not only the sea-hum, the lala is nice too.

It’s darn fresh, basically u have to kopek it urself and when the blood started dripping. Omg, u’l’ feel like Fear Factor!

Of coz i’ll never miss being a camwhore

As for Dawn, he thinks he’s like Anthony Bourdain trying every possible edible food.

So Dawn, what do think of this place? Is it an officially certified?

He’s following the footsteps of Anthony Bourdain. Whatever that had been officially certified by Dawn, is a must place to try .YEakkKKk!!!!

Trip to Zoo!

It had been the past 3 days since my semester break started. Very much enjoying it, hanging out with frens, mamak, makan, shopping and etc. This break only last for 3 weeks. In a blink of an eye, I’ll be in the 2nd sem already. Hmm, feels like everything moving in the fast lane, but I’m not complaining. The faster I graduate, the faster I can work. Haha. Alrite, enough of crapping already .

In between my final exam week, I have this bunch of crazy frens , ajak-ed me to zoo :

Don : Su Ling! We’re already in front of ur house, quick come out!

Me : huh?

Don : QUICK come out now!!

Me : Ok OK , give me some time to get ready la.

In the car,on the way to the makan place, where i got a shocked n had a mild heart attack :

Me : So, after makan, we going back, not going elsewhere rite? (happily)

Jac : Erm , no. After makan, we are going to Zoo?

Me : wdf! huh?! Huh?!

Jac : yea, i suppose Don told u already rite?

Me : No no no, he didnt. He didnt tell me this. He said, get ready, go makan. That’s it.

Me : ( Popping the two-eyes balls out staring at the Little Don). Omg Don, im so gonna belasah u now!

Don :

I kinda wrestle with him a little at the back. With some bruises on his lips. Oh well..Haha. Kidding.

Here how’s it went :

Before we get started exploring the entire the zoo, there was this animal show started just in time when we came. U can watch it all here *click*

Then, there’s this part where i got horrified and goosebumps all over :

What in the name of mother nature this trainer did! They hid the snake inside the wooden box underneath the chair. And asked us not to touch it. I was shocked and felt a tingled on the back of my neck when they said it. Eww, so disguisting that i can actually feel it. Then fianlly, they found the snake n one of the trainer(shown in the pic) , was directly infront of us. Toss n turn the snake at the front of my face!!! I was so scared that i think i hugged shien . hahaha. It was geli la.

Yes, im not a animal lover. I felt disguisted even cats or dogs get near me i’ll run like 10 km away from them. Just dont argue with me on this . I only like friendly creature, i still can take it. no reptilies ,exotic animal and no giant dogs as tall as a midget. Please… big NO.

There’s this part, where i was too confident on realizing my mistakes. I was saying it aloud that i was called “lala” .. daymnn dawn!

I was too excited,hopping and jumping looking at the tall neck popping behind the tree. At that time we were at the zebra area. So i got blured and yelled happily “oh, look Zebra!! Zebra!! ” Stupidity mistake that will never happen again in near future

All in all, the trip was utterly-educationally spontaneous. It was a good one. I enjoyed it much. And will take the advice from Shien to watch more “animal planet, not MTV”.

Me and my very kawan baik Cat. She’s flying to aussie next year. It’s been awhile since i last met her. I think for a year perhaps? Come back every week also never find me lohh!!!

I got 3rd la. How to compete with those two ler? Their throws is full of energy compared to mine. Have to practise more, more and MORE!!

Those two, HC and Eng Heng havent gv up ler. They paid again to play in another lane, competing with each other. Damn exciting watching them play. Damn good la.
